Megan Conner

Megan is a dreamer, a trainer, a running coach, a lululemon legacy ambassador, a Boston marathoner, a songwriter, a writer, a creator, an inspirer...

She has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She began teaching kickboxing and spinning while attending Baylor University. After graduating with a degree in theater, she moved to New York City to pursue acting, but five days after moving she landed a job as a personal trainer at Equinox in Midtown.

She then went on to train at Equinox and eventually taught spinning, sculpting and other classes all over NYC as well as other cities across the country. While in New York, she taught at world class gyms such as Reebok/NY, Sports Club LA, New York Athletic Club, Equinox, Crunch and the Athletic and Swim club, among others. She also found a love in fitness management and became the the Program Director/Group Fitness Manager at the Athletic and Swim Club for over two years where  She managed the group fitness classes, instructors, athletic programs and also created and administered the Athletic and Swim Triathlon Club.

In 2006, she had the opportunity to move to Nashville to pursue a career in music.  While in Nashville, she have had the blessing to train at the award-winning Takes 2 Fitness and the acclaimed Barry’s Bootcamp both in Nashville and in LA as well as other gyms in the city. Even though Megan continued to pursue music - fitness was a constant.  With having had multiple publishing deals and traveling the world to write music, she is also a platinum and gold record songwriter.  She has landed songs recorded by Rascal Flatts, Chris Young, Jonny Diaz and numerous indie and international artists.   Even while focusing on songwriting, her deep-seeded love for fitness never waned.  She continued teaching and training and even opened her own home studio in 2016 and started her award-winning running coaching business in 2018 having coached people to qualify for Boston, PR races, rehab back to running, and to learn to love the sport in a new way.

Megan has received a few notable fitness accolades since moving to Nashville... She was voted Nashville’s top running coach in 2017-2019 in the Nashville Fit Magazine and had the honor of being the cover story for the 2nd annual marathon issue of the magazine.  Nashville Lifestyles Magazine named her Barry's Bootcamp class as one of the toughest instructors and workouts in Nashville, and she was honored with being voted one of the top 3 Nashville Personal Trainers in the Nashville Scene in 2015.

Megan continues to push daily towards leaving a mark on the fitness industry and the people she trains.  Her ultimate goal is  that every person that works with her is inspired and believes in themself even more after they SWT with her.
